CRT Stakeholders and Friends,
As of this morning, the possibility of the passage of H.R. 7217 and its CRT provision is currently held up in the Senate. The delay has nothing to do with the CRT provision but relates to other Medicaid provisions in the bill that some Senators have concerns about. It will not move forward until all Senators are supportive of passage.
Unfortunately, right now the Senate has their hands full deciding if the government is going to go into shutdown mode. A narrow opportunity for H.R. 7217 remains, but its dependent on Senator-to-Senator discussions and how long the Senate stays in session before they adjourn for the year.
We continue to stay in contact with our Champions and will keep you updated on progress.
