NCART was notified in response to our E2298 fee schedule challenge that the fee schedule for seat elevation (E2298, “Complex rehabilitative power wheelchair accessory, power seat elevation system, any type) would be increased by $13.62 to a purchase fee schedule amount of $2,013.96.
The changes are being implemented as part of the July DMEPOS fee schedule update, along with instructions for submitting previously processed claims for adjustment. The details of the revisions to the fee schedule amounts are attached in the letter from CMS.
