More positive news for access to CRT! This afternoon the ITEM Coalition, a national consumer and clinician focused organization, sent letters to Congress asking for passage of our CRT legislation. The letters were signed by 32 national groups including the United Spinal Association, MS Society, ALS Association, NCIL, Paralyzed Veterans of America, Reeve Foundation, Spina Bifida Association, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, American Association of Occupational Therapy, and American Association of Physical Therapy. Thanks to all these organizations for their support of protecting access to CRT for people with disabilities.
You can read and download the House H.R. 2293 CRT Wheelchair letter here, the Senate S. 1223 CRT Wheelchair letter here, and the House H.R. 2408 CRT Separate Benefit Category letter here. Please share these with your Members of Congress and encourage them to cosponsor and pass these important bills.
