We're officially halfway through National CRT  Awareness Week. On day three we're recognizing CRT Providers for all that they do. These dedicated companies and individuals supply the needed operating infrastructure and expertise to partner with individuals with disabilities, family members, clinicians, and others to deliver individually configured solutions that maximize independence.

Special recognition goes to the credentialed Assistive Technology Professionals (ATP), Certified Rehab Technology Suppliers (CRTS), Seating and Mobility Specialists (SMS), and supporting rehab and repair technicians who work one-on-one with individuals to improve lives every day.

We're especially thankful for our NCART Supplier Members, who can be found by visiting our membership page at NCART Members | NCART. We're grateful for their partnership, experience, and support as we collectively advocate to protect access to CRT.

Providing CRT can be a process of over 30 steps. Primary activities may include participating in clinical evaluations, recommending the most appropriate equipment based on the person’s identified needs and goals, supplying trial equipment, verifying funding, purchasing and ordering multiple items, assembling the final product/system, coordinating delivery with the CRT user, fitting the equipment, making needed adjustments, completing programming and training, submitting equipment claims to insurance plans, and supplying ongoing adjustments and repairs. You can read more about the CRT delivery process here.

Help us share the CRT message with others this week. We've created a website with suggestions and tools to make it even easier to participate. Click the button below for some ideas to help you brainstorm or simply follow NCART on FacebookLinked In, and Twitter to "love" and share our posts. Whatever way you decide to get involved, be sure to use #CRTAwareness with your post so we can see it too!
